It was an absolute scream for all the children when the Newton Tenants’ Association held their annual Halloween Party.

Held at The Local, in Main Street, Ayr, the party on Friday, October 25, was another spooktacular success.

The tenants’ association also decked out the Community Garden in a Halloween theme and it looked really spooky once complete.

Association secretary Helen Russell said: “We would like to thank The Local, Main Street, Ayr, for the funding and also for giving us the room for free this year.

“Shonya Gibson and her colleagues have been brilliant!

“We would also like to say thanks to Asda, Heathfield, Ayr, for their kind donations of cakes and Farmfoods, in Ayr Main Street, for their kind donation too.”

Taza, in the town’s Main Street, also gave generously, donating pizzas for the children to munch down, while South Ayrshire Councillor Ian Davis judged the best costumes.
