Tens of thousands of runners hit the pavement for the 53rd annual New York City Marathon on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2024. More than 55,000 people finished the 26.2-mile race from Staten Island to the finish line in Central Park. This year’s winners were Adbi Nageeye for the men and Sheila Chepkirui for the women.
