East Kilbride will be full of festive cheer this month as the town gathers for the Christmas lights switch-on.
Returning for a second year, MacBusted, the UK’s official number one tribute to McFly and Busted, will be performing all your favourite chart hits from the pop rock supergroup.
The Village is expected to be full of festive cheer for the magical moment at 5pm on Sunday, November 17.
The crowds will be kept entertained with a packed programme of festive fun featuring Christmas tunes and live music from the Soundsational Choir, interactive family games, kids characters and street entertainers.
Santa Claus and Elfie will also be joining in the fun with Ali Wright from Clyde 1 on hosting duties.
South Lanarkshire Provost Margaret Cooper will then join Santa on stage for the countdown to the big switch-on as the town gets set to sparkle once again.
Provost Cooper said: “I hope as many people as possible come along to enjoy a bit of Christmas cheer.
“The Christmas lights always help people get in the mood for festive fun and I am sure everyone will have a great time at the switch-on events.”
