On Wednesday’s episode of Loose Women, Coleen Nolan didn’t hold back in expressing her disapproval towards her co-stars.

The segment took a turn when Charlene White introduced a topic on the loss of manners due to technology, stemming from a story where Greggs denied service to customers wearing earphones in the queue.

Coleen was noticeably irritated when Judi Love admitted to often being on her phone while being attended to in shops, with Coleen retorting: “I think it’s rude!”

Despite Judi not entirely agreeing with the term ‘rude’, Coleen doubled down, insisting: “It’s bad mannered, it’s rude.”

Applause broke out in the studio after Judi light-heartedly thanked Coleen for targeting her, despite Coleen chuckling at the comeback, reports the Mirror.

The discussion on whether it’s impolite to take phone calls during face-to-face interactions continued, with Coleen pressing: “It’s like, you’re talking to me don’t answer the phone?”

But Brenda Edwards chimed in, suggesting that it does matter who the caller is.

She argued: “If it’s one of my children, I will say, ‘It’s my child do you mind if I answer it?’ If you say yes, you can’t complain.”

Unconvinced, Coleen confronted Brenda, exposing that her calls are not always kid-related during their outings.

Calling Brenda out, Coleen revealed: “I’ve been out with both of you! Don’t lie it’s not always your children.”

Imitating a phone call she’d seen, Judi quipped: “Look, it’s either the children or something that’s got to feed the children so I’ve got to answer that phone.”

Although she confessed she would always put Coleen first, her ITV co-star did not seem to expect such an admission.

Undeterred, Coleen explained: “It’s not about prioritising, I don’t need to be a priority, it’s about manners.”

Defiant, Judi retorted: “I’ve got manners! Listen, we’re going to the break soon ok, at least I gave you a warning, that’s manners!”

Laughter filled the studio as their playful exchange concluded with Coleen expressing her affection for Judi, saying ‘loved her’, despite their jovial disagreement.

Loose Women continues weekdays on ITV from 12:30pm.
