Rangers and Celtic will be live on the box in a blockbuster January midweek after reaching the Premier Sports Cup Final.

Brendan Rodgers and Philippe Clement will go head to head at Hampden on Sunday, December 14 meaning league fixtures scheduled for that weekend against Dundee and Aberdeen have had to be moved. The SPFL have now confirmed both games will be live on the box as part of SEVEN picks for the month of January with the Light Blues featuring in three live matches and the Hoops twice, while the likes of Aberdeen, Hibs, Motherwell and Hearts supporters will also get to watch their teams on live coverage.

Six of the matches will be broadcast live on Sky Sports with Motherwell vs Aberdeen on Premier Sports. Jimmy Thelin’s men will travel to Fir Park that day as part of a top flight double bill with Hibs vs Rangers from Easter Road also on TV at 12pm in the Sunday lunchtime slot.

Sunday January 5 – Motherwell vs Aberdeen (Premier Sports, 2.30pm)

Saturday January 11 – Ross County vs Celtic (Sky Sports, 12.30pm)

Sunday January 12 – Aberdeen vs Hearts (Sky Sports, 3pm)

Tuesday January 14 – Dundee vs Celtic (Sky Sports, 8pm) P-P on Saturday December 14 due to Premier Sports Cup Final

Wednesday January 15 – Rangers vs Aberdeen (Sky Sports, 8pm) P-P on Sunday December 15 due to Premier SportsCup Final

Sunday January 26 –Dundee United vs Rangers (Sky Sports, 12pm)
