PHILIPPI, W.Va (WDTV) – A grand jury met on Monday in Barbour County for the October 2024 term and indicted a total of 25 people, including a man accused of a murder in Philippi.

Michael Mussi, Jr. is accused of shooting and killing Tanner Talbott at the Philippi Covered Bridge in March because he believed he and his wife were having an affair, according to police.

Mussi is indicted on one count of murder, one count of use or presentation of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and four counts of wanton endangerment involving a firearm.
