Many office workers struggle to maintain a healthy diet during lunch hours.

A lot of workers resort to grabbing a standard meal deal or whipping up a quick sandwich accompanied by a packet of crisps. However, one fitness coach and fat loss expert has revealed the ideal food for meal prepping that will keep you satisfied and trim while working in an office.

Hawys D, a Welsh fitness enthusiast, regularly shares her workout and diet tips with her 46,200 Instagram followers. Her latest reel about what healthy food to bring on office days went down particularly well.

The weight loss guru began her video by stating: “Here’s meal prep for a day in the office if I wanted to lose fat but I had a big appetite.”

Hawys then showed various dishes which she claimed totalled just 900 calories, yet contained nearly 100 grams of protein. She emphasised: “Most importantly, it’s full of foods that are actually going to help keep you full.”

The influencer was seen picking up a potato as she informed viewers that they were the most “satiating food on the planet”, before revealing her breakfast hash recipe that included them. She added: “It’s also packing 40 grams of protein and is ready in under 10 minutes.”

For lunch, the food expert recommended her classic chicken pasta salad, boasting 38 grams of protein and only 350 calories. Hawys also advised people to ‘put their coffee down’ at lunchtime for a better night’s sleep.

When the 2pm energy dip comes calling, the online sensation offers up her spicy veggie steak bites for a critical protein pick-me-up, suggesting a banana should be paired with it for “an added energy boost”.

The nutritional insight proved a hit with her followers, as the clip amassed over 17,000 likes. One fan excitedly declared: “I need the breakfast hash! I am obsessed with potatoes in all forms except mash and I need a new filling savoury breakfast idea.”

Another concurred, adding: “I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again potatoes are the most delicious food on the planet and I’ve never had one I didn’t like.”

Someone else penned: “Love these ideas,” while another enthused: “These look and sound perfect will try them out.”

Keen interest bubbled around the recipe for the breakfast hash, leading Hawys to reveal her method in a separate post. Her combination of turkey bacon, potatoes, red onion, tomatoes and a poached egg went into creating the delectable and healthy morning meal.
