St Kenneth’s Primary has topped the leaderboard to take the Beat the Street East Kilbride 2024 title.

The school beat off stiff competition from runner-up Our Lady of Lourdes, Crosshouse (third place) and Mossneuk (fourth place) to win the active travel competition.

Winning on average points was Greenburn Primary, with St Hilary’s in second place, St Louise in third and coming fourth was Mount Cameron Primary.

“The competitive element of the game has really encouraged people to get out and about and as an added bonus, the community has helped Kilbryde Hospice to a £500 donation too. Although the game may be over for now, Beat the Street will continue to encourage participants to stay active and to highlight exciting local initiatives and opportunities to keep people moving.”

Beat the Street East Kilbride is delivered by Intelligent Health on behalf of South Lanarkshire Council. The project is supported by South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture and is funded by Strathclyde Partnership for Transport.
