Remembrance parades and services being held throughout West Lothian this weekend.

Members of the public are invited to join armed forces veterans and participants to pay their respects.

The Royal British Legion Scotland Livingston Branch is hosting a Remembrance Sunday Service at West Lothian Civic Centre from 10.45am on Sunday 10 November.

In Bathgate, the service takes place at the War Memorial at 1pm. The parade leaves North Bridge Street at 12.45 pm on Sunday 10 November.

In Uphall and Broxburn, the service starts from Broxburn Parish Church at 1.30pm on Sunday 10 November and finishes at the War Memorial at Strathbrock Community Centre.

In Armadale, the parade will marshall at Armadale Parish Church at 10.00am on Sunday 10 November. The Remembrance Parade will move off at 10.15am via West Main Street to the War Memorial on North Street. Service will commence at 10.30am.

The Whitburn Armistice Parade will muster at Taste car park from 10.15am on Sunday 10 November. The parade will leave at 10.30am prompt and turn right heading south onto Armadale Road, through Whitburn Cross, Manse Road, to War Memorial for the service & wreath laying. Following the service at Whitburn South Church led by Rev. Robert Craig, the parade will reform outside South Church @ 1230 hours and return via Manse Road, Whitburn Cross, Armadale Road and will conclude and disperses @ 1245 hours at Taste Car Park. There will be hot snacks & refreshments provided in the Masonic Hall following event. A mini bus will be provided to take part in the parade for any person with walking difficulties.

Kirknewton and East Calder church service is at 10 am on Sunday 10 November in Manse Court, East Calder, and a coach will depart for the church for the service at the Cenotaph starting at 10.45.
