BECKLEY, W.Va. – Wednesday night was a big one in the Girl’s Volleyball realm around the area.
Multiple schools advanced to Charleston either with Regional Titles or by being part of a co-final berth.
In Woodrow Wilson’s case, they return to Charleston with a Regional Title under their belt.
The Lady Flying Eagles came into their match against St. Albans as heavy favorites but the Red Dragons did not care for that.
The first set was by far the closest, going back and forth, but in the end, Woodrow edged it out 25-23, going on to win the next two by larger margins and sweeping the match.
The next time the Flying Eagles will step inside the lines will be next Wednesday in Charleston.
Their seeding, who they will play, and what time is to be determined.
