Police taped off a convenience store in Cambuslang last night after being called to an incident.
Officers were seen standing guard outside Usave store on Glebe Street at around 7pm on Saturday, November 9.
The reason behind the emergency response is currently unknown. One local resident said he was left “shocked” after spotting police tape around the shop, claiming that CID officers were questioning passersby.
The concerned resident told Glasgow Live: “On the way home from work I noticed that my local shop had been taped off, a neighbour told me she heard sirens and a big commotion not long before I passed. CID were outside the shop talking to onlookers. As a local resident this absolutely shocked me”.
