A cyclist was rushed to hospital after being struck by a car on a Stirling street this week.
Police and the Scottish Ambulance Service (SAS) attended the incident that occurred in the Spittal Hill area of the city – close to Airthrey Road – on Monday evening during rush hour.
The incident happened at around 5.45pm on Monday, November 11.
A spokesperson for the SAS said: “We received a call at 5.45pm on November 11 to attend a road traffic collision on Spittal Hill, Stirling.
“An ambulance was dispatched to the scene and one patient was transported to Forth Valley Royal Hospital.”
It occurred just a short distance away from where traffic on Causewayhead Road and at Causewayhead Roundabout was at a standstill due to ongoing roadworks there, causing gridlock.
