PRINCETON, W.Va. – The seventh annual Small Communities, BIG Solutions Conference is set for Princeton from November 20 through the 22.

This year the event is emphasizing creativity, connection, and collaboration, with the goal of highlighting and celebrating unique solutions southern West Virginians have developed for community, economic and workforce challenges.

The conference will move through Concord University, the Mercer Street Grassroots District and the Chuck Mathena Center.

One organizer said this event is great for the city, and they’re excited to bring in people from all over to the region.

“This is a great way for us to show Princeton off, to show Mercer County off to our Southern West Virginia friends. So anytime that we can have people come and stay, it creates an economic impact as they stay in hotels or Airbnb’s and of course visit our restaurants and shops. So, we’re really excited to have visitors in our community and we’re really looking forward to the conference,” said Jamie Null.

There’s still time to get tickets to the conference and those can be purchased here.
