Married at First Sight UK has come to an end, with the cast of series nine reuniting around the dinner table to hash out any last dramas and reflect on their marriages.
Without revealing too many spoilers, you could say the wine was well and truly flowing as bride Polly has received major backlash from viewers after erupting at the table on former husband Adam with the show hit by Ofcom complaints over her behaviour.
However fans noticed there was a few faces missing from the cast, including Alex Henry and Eve Reid. But why did they not turn up to the final dinner party, and where are they now?
While Alex hasn’t revealed his reason for not attending the MAFS reunion, an insider told The Sun “Alex didn’t film either of the two reunion episodes, which seemed really odd to the rest of the cast.
“It was unclear whether it was Channel 4‘s decision or his own, but there was a lot of chatter about it amongst the brides and grooms who expected him to be there with his ex, Holly.”
Eve has also not disclosed why she was missing from the MAFS reunion, however a source told the publication: “Producers were really hoping Eve would return for the reunion episodes to give some closure to her rocky relationship with Charlie and reflect on what went wrong.

“But she refused to film and hasn’t been in touch with show bosses or the rest of the cast since.
“Eve clearly wants to move on from the show but it’s a shame she didn’t return to reflect on everything, especially after viewers were invested in her and Charlie’s journey.”
Elsewhere, the much-anticipated series finale will be broadcast tonight on November 14, bringing the couples back together for the concluding commitment ceremony.
Relationship experts Mel Schilling, Paul C Brunson and Charlene Douglas will sit down the participants of this year’s series to allow them time to reflect on their marriages and what they got out of the experiment.
