St Mirren’s partnership with a digital ticketing company has been extended to a long-term deal which is set to bring benefits to Paisley Buddies.
The multi-year contract sees Future Ticketing strengthen its relationship with the Paisley outfit, who were among the first to recognise the potential of digital ticketing and its ability to drive sales at the SMiSA Stadium.
Future Ticketing’s high-performance software and API empowers venues, like the SMiSA, and events to sell tickets, manage business and build partner integrations.
In particular, Future Ticketing says it is privileged to accompany Saints and its fans through the 2024/2025 season which began with European football in the UEFA Conference League and visits to Paisley by FC Valur of Iceland and Norway’s SK Brann.
Saints’ involvement in Europe for the first time in 37 years was further progress under boss Stephen Robinson who has led the club to back-to-back top-six Premiership finishes.
The club’s chief operating officer Keith Lasley said: “We’re delighted to be extending our partnership with Future Ticketing.
“We had numerous positive discussions with Future Ticketing over the past year as we look to refine the current ticket platform to create the best possible customer experience for our fans.
“We firmly believe that our extended partnership with Future Ticketing will now give us the opportunity to continue to grow and develop our relationship and ticketing platform, enhancing our offerings and customer journey for our supporters.”
Liam Holton, chief executive officer at Future Ticketing, said: “Here at Future Ticketing, we know how much St Mirren values the fans and the intimate relationship the club has with them.
“As a fan-focused organisation ourselves, we are especially pleased that a fan-owned club has decided to renew its partnership with us.”
Future Ticketing’s commitment to API-first software means it is best placed to ensure that Saints can maximise the benefits the club derives from digital ticketing and online purchasing.
Holton added: “Future Ticketing is looking forward to assisting St Mirren and the football community of Paisley in the coming years. We are confident that we can help the club achieve the ambitious goals it has for further growth and development.”
