Maura Higgins has puzzled her fans by jetting off with Stacey Solomon instead of heading to the I’m A Celebrity jungle.
Rumours have been growing that the former Love Island star may be heading Down Under to take on the bushtucker trials, though nothing has been confirmed yet.
The first group of jungle celebs was announced this week by ITV, with the likes of Coleen Rooney, Tulisa Contostavlos and Danny Jones arriving in Australia awaiting the start of the show this weekend.
Although Maura got fans excited as she shared a photograph of a plane, teasing her followers by asking getting them to guess where she was off to, reports OK.
To fans’ disappointment, Stacey Solomon shared a photo with a group, including last year’s jungle campmate Nella Rose, on a plane to Las Vegas. People quickly noticed Maura peeking in the background of the photo.
Both Stacey and Maura followers were stunned to see the rumoured campmate and mum of five standing side by side.
Stacey post read: “Off on an adventure of a lifetime. Viva Las Vegas here I come. I honestly can’t actually believe I’m doing this. I feel wild for me anyway! Adele, vegas, canyons, the girls I can’t believe it. This truly has been the f**k it year! Wish me luck. Any vegas must-dos let me know. Feeling so grateful! Thank you @spacenk for this incredible opportunity. Love you guys so much.”
The pair are heading off on a brand trip with Space NK, and fans fear that this means Maura wont be heading into the jungle this year.
One fan commented: “This confirms Maura won’t be the extra in the jungle,” whilst another wrote: “I guess @maurahiggins isn’t going to the jungle then,” alongside heartbreak emojis.
Prior to this, Maura was spotted on a shopping spree in London, carrying two full bags, one of which was from the beauty brand Space NK.

Before flying out, the 33-year-old was seen out with Pete Wicks earlier in the week.
Maura and Strictly Come Dancing star Pete shared a music-filled date night, with rumours circulating online about their possible romantic relationship.
Pete is currently competing in the 20th series of Strictly and is preparing for his performance in the crucial Blackpool show this Saturday.
