Many gamers will be eagerly awaiting the Black Friday sales to bag some sweet deals across their favourite consoles and games.

One that remains a firm favourite is the Nintendo Switch. First launched in March 2017, the Switch has managed to impress with its vast array of titles that include the likes of Zelda and Animal Crossing to name just a couple.

Since hitting the market seven years ago, the Switch is now available in other models that include the Switch Lite and the OLED. There’s also rumours of a new variation dropping next year, which means now is the perfect time to look for any deals.

While Black Friday isn’t until November 29, many retailers are offering early bird deals across the games machine. With a starting price of £259.99 for the console alone, the shopping event provides an excellent opportunity to nab it for less.

What is the Nintendo Switch?

When first launched in 2017, the Nintendo Switch was a breakthrough home video console that was designed to be taken everywhere with you.

The portable device is perfect for family fun at home, as it can connect easily to your TV. However, its lightweight design is perfect for on the go gaming, with the 6.2-inch screen offering vibrant visuals for multiple games.

It’s also been praised for its battery life, which can last up to anywhere between 4.5 to nine hours, although this does depend on the length of play. It also comes complete with a variety of accessories such as a docking station, HDMI cable, alongside a left and right joy-con.
