BLUEFIELD, W.Va. – No injuries are reported, and traffic is moving as-normal, after a tractor-trailer overturned while leaving Interstate-77.

After leaving the “East River Mountain Tunnel” on Friday, November 15th, a semi-trailer truck, taking Exit 1 to John Nash Boulevard flipped on its side. The “Green Valley-Glenwood Fire Department” and “Mercer County Sheriff’s Department” responded to the emergency.

Corporal N. J. Mason with the Sheriff’s Department tells us, this was caused by the truck taking the turn at Exit 1 too quickly. He says only one person was in the truck at the time, and no one was hurt.

The truck was taken away by Glen’s Towing later that afternoon.
