Christmas light-up fun day
On Sunday, November 17 from 12-4 pm, Ayr Central joins Ayr town centre to host a day of free festive activities as part of Light Up Ayr. Come down on the day to immerse yourself in the Christmas atmosphere with seasonal music, festive fun characters and a stocking full of free family fun like face-painting, glitter tattoos, festive crafts, balloon modelling, and so much more…
Bring your little ones to meet Santa in his magical grotto to share their Christmas wishes and receive a special gift. The Ayr Central Grotto operates on weekends in December and is run in aid of Crosshouse Children’s Fund. Tickets cost £10 per child and can be booked at ayrcentral.com
Learn to Elf at Ayr Central’s Elf School
Then on Saturday, November 30 and Saturday, December 7, 14 and 21 between 12 and 4pm, younger visitors can attend the free Ayr Central Elf School. Billed as ‘Come as yourself, leave as an elf!’, children will be transformed into the cutest little elves with rosy cheeks and their very own elf hat before learning essential Christmas crafts and receiving the Elf Certificate.
