Queen Elizabeth’s granddaughter and former rugby pro Mike Tindall were spotted at a special event on Thursday night, alongside unlikely friend Nick Knowles. The Annual Remembrance Day Dinner was held at Vitners Hall in London, where Mike, Nick and Zara joined The Tower of London’s very own ‘Beefeater’, Yeoman Warder Scott Kelly for what appeared to be a delightful evening.

In photos from the event, Mike looked sharp in a black suit, white shirt and black bow tie, while Zara dazzled in a beautiful black dress adorned with gold leaves and a sparkly poppy. Nick also looked dapper in a black suit, white shirt and long black tie.

The evening was described as “a poignant reflection on the unbreakable bond between rugby and the armed forces, made even more meaningful by the presence”. Rugby for Heroes thanked the Gloucester rugby star in an Instagram post, stating that the night was “dedicated to honouring the lives of our military community”.

It continued, stating that the “dinner not only commemorated the sacrifices of our military heroes but also raised crucial funds to support our wider military family.”

The statement added: “A particularly special moment came as we recognised our latest course attendees, who wore their medals as a proud symbol of their unwavering support and resilience. They shared the profound impact of our #transitionthroughrugby course and their experiences of resettling after service. This dinner not only commemorated the sacrifices of our military heroes but also raised crucial funds to support our wider military family.”

A Yeoman Warder took to social media to share a snapshot of himself alongside Mike and Zara Tindall, who were all smiles. He captioned the photo with: “A fantastic night out supporting Rugby for Heroes at Vintners’ Hall, London with some amazing people.”

Adding to the Royal festivities, he mentioned, “When toasting the King on his 76 birthday I had everyone sing happy birthday to our beloved King Charles III #royalbirthdaybeers.”
