I’m A Celebrity made a smashing return on Sunday night, seeing ten celebs taking the plunge Down Under for an unforgettable adventure.

Fans didn’t waste any time picking their favourite to win, with many rooting for McFly’s Danny Jones from the word go.

On X, formerly known as Twitter, a fan declared: “I only want Danny to win. I will not accept any other winner. Sorry not sorry #imaceleb.”

Another was quick to say: “So is Danny already the winner of #ImACeleb? #imacelebrity,” and one more chimed in: “Danny is my winner before we even start #ImACeleb.”

Predictions poured in as another added: “Fifteen minutes in and I’ve already called it, Danny Jones will be King Of The Jungle #imacelebrity,” reports the Express.

One more confidently wrote: “Danny Jones will be king of the jungle. #imacelebrity #ImACeleb,” and another said: “Be very surprised if Danny doesn’t win the whole thing #imacelebrity.”

The star-studded episode began by dividing the celebs into two teams, with the first group enjoying an opulent poolside villa encounter.

Representing the first team were Oti Mabuse, Tulisa Contostavlos, Dean McCullough, Jane Moore, and none other than Danny, greeted shortly by hosts Ant and Dec who arrived grandly via helicopters, ready to lay out the thrilling race that would decide the inaugural camp leaders, setting the stage for a high-flying skydiving start.

Meanwhile, another group of campers, including Alan Halsall, Barry McGuigan, GK Barry, Coleen Rooney and Melvin Odoom, were blissfully unaware of the challenges their counterparts were facing as they met on a sunny Gold Coast beach to begin their own adventure.

Their first task involved downing cocktails made from an assortment of creepy crawlies before hopping into helicopters for skydiving stunts.

Danny chose Barry, Tulisa went for Alan, Jane chose Grace, Dean grabbed Coleen and Oti was left with Melvin.

As the pairs jumped into jeeps and headed off for their next part of the challenge, it was ultimately Tulisa and Alan who were victorious.

The pair managed to beat close runners-up Danny and Barry, despite the duo being in first position for most of the challenge.

I’m A Celebrity continues tomorrow night at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX followed I’m A Celebrity: Unpacked after the main show on ITV2.
