The legend of comedy, Peter Kay, sent waves of excitement during the return of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! with a surprise ad break revelation thrilling Scottish fans. Echoing his tour announcement from two years prior, the Bolton-born comic genius announced additional dates stretching into 2025 and 2026.
Since December 2022, Kay has been selling out venues nationwide, breaking records as he goes. His latest reveal includes gigs at Manchester’s AO Arena, alongside more intimate performances in various theatres.
The reveal was made in a classic Kay-style commercial aired during Sunday night’s opening episode of I’m a Celebrity.

The witty advert features Peter carrying a gold toilet to his mother’s famed bungalow, sparking questions from onlookers in a car – “Is that Peter Kay’s mum’s bungalow? ” As Kay strolls on, discussion turns to a garage adorned with a Freddie Mercury painting, prompting a fan to yell out, asking about new tour dates. Peter jestingly responds: “Hey, I’ve no choice! She wants it all now” and cleverly retorts when asked about the lavish loo, quipping: “Oh aye, you want to see her bidet,” reports the Manchester Evening News.
Peter has expanded his tour repertoire to include performances across the UK’s largest arenas and snug theatre venues. Set for 2025 and 2026, the new shows feature his debut appearances at notable sites such as Aberdeen’s P&J Live and the Isle of Man’s Villa Marina.
Having kicked off in Manchester in December 2022, the tour is breaking records left, right, and centre with Peter smashing the all-time performance count at Manchester AO Arena after his 100th show. In a landmark achievement, he’s also set the record as the first-ever artist to hold a monthly residency at The O2 in London, accruing the highest number of performances by an artist at the venue with 45 shows.
Adding to this impressive tally, two more weekend shows are scheduled at The O2 for 2025. Expressing his joy, Peter remarked tonight: “It’s been wonderful doing what I love most, stand-up comedy. Laughter is more important than ever in these challenging times and with the cost of living still at an all-time high, ticket prices for the new dates will start from £35.”
Ticket hunters can gear up as the additional show tickets will be available from Saturday, 23rd November, starting 10am through Ticketmaster and Gigs and Tours. Starts at £35, inclusive of booking fees.
