An inferno has ripped through a hospital in Russia with people jumping out windows to escape the flames.
A Russian TV news channel reported this morning that the roof of Central Hospital No.3 in Yekateringburg is ablaze – with patients and visitors forced to flee the scene.
Shocking footage shared online shows how the fire tore through the building, with a huge cloud of black smoke rising from it. Disturbing clips show people jumping from the hospital’s windows in a desperate bid to escape to safety, The Mirror reports.
According to E1.RU, the roof was allegedly being repaired. However, the Russian publication said this information has not yet been officially confirmed.
A witness said the emergency services arrived within three minutes of the fire breaking out. There is currently no confirmation on the number of victims.
