I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! is back for 2024 featuring campmates such as WAG Coleen Rooney, boxing legend Barry McGuigan, Loose Women presenter Jane Moore, and former Strictly Come Dancing star Oti Mabuse to take on jungle challenges.

Yet, beyond the on-screen antics, many are just as curious to learn about the unseen aspects of jungle life. Fortunately, ex-contestants are often willing to divulge secrets from their experiences.

Frankie Bridge, a contestant in 2019, has been quite candid with her followers, shedding light on behind-the-scenes details.

Turning to Instagram, the pop singer and Loose Women panelist answered queries about the show. For instance, when asked about arrangements for women on their period, she admitted: “Lots of period questions. I was dreading having one in the camp! Think most of us were! ” But Frankie clarified that no special treatment was given, stating, “No special allowances were made,” reports OK!.

Moreover, Frankie elaborated: “But eco-friendly sanitary products are supplied and there’s a medic on site at all times. So if anyone was in pain, relief could be offered obviously.”

Her revelations follow past incidents like Kendra Wilkinson’s performance dip during her third Bush Tucker Trial in 2014, which she attributed to being on her period at the time.

The ex-model faced the daunting Catecombs of Doom in a recent challenge but managed to secure only two stars within the 10-minute time frame. She attributed her lackluster performance to it being that time of the month, a fact she’s mentioned multiple times to both the campmates and hosts Ant and Dec.

She lost over a quarter of her allotted time before even attempting to retrieve the first star, hesitating due to the presence of a baby crocodile. Expressing her fear, she admitted: “I’m so scared, I don’t like this stuff.”

In the next section of the Catacomb, Kendra braved putting her hand inside skulls to find stars, succeeding in one instance despite encountering fish guts.

However, she hit a roadblock at the following hurdle. Even though she managed to grab another star while navigating a tunnel with a snake, she decided not to proceed any further.

In the end, she exclaimed: “I’m a celebrity… get me out of here!”
