As Black Friday looms, an increasing number of brands are rolling out enticing deals. The likes of Sky and Virgin Media initiated their sales earlier this month, and now EE is the latest so share its bargains.

The BT-owned company is offering discounts up to £279 on its TV and broadband bundles, which include a variety of Sky TV channels, live sports from sources such as TNT, and a Netflix subscription.

Additionally, customers who opt for EE TV can also secure substantial savings on superfast broadband with speeds reaching an impressive 1.6Gbps. EE’s TV packages are tailored to cater to all needs and budgets, with certain plans specifically targeting sports enthusiasts.

When subscribing to a TV package, you can also select from any of the brand’s BT-powered broadband options, depending on the speeds available locally, as reported in the Mirror,

EE broadband provides speeds ranging from 150Mbps to a staggering 1.6Gbps, offering solutions for households of any size, whether a large family using multiple devices simultaneously or simply seeking faster speeds for streaming or web browsing.

New customers can also claim up to £300 to offset fees incurred by switching providers, with EE handling the heavy lifting for you.

EE’s Black Friday sale is in full swing until December 12, featuring discounts on gadgets such as the new PlayStation 5 Pro for £659 and the Meta Quest 3S for £289.99.

The EE TV plans are available when subscribing to one of the 24-month fibre broadband plans. If your current provider charges you for switching, EE will shoulder that cost up to £300 once you’ve signed up.

As always, it pays to shop around for the best deal that fits your needs, especially since several other TV and broadband providers have also cut their prices for Black Friday.

Sky, for instance, offers its Sky Stream, Sky TV, Netflix and Full Fibre 150 Broadband bundle for £38 a month, which is £5.99 cheaper than opting for EE Entertainment with EE Full Fibre 150.

However, sports enthusiasts might want to consider EE to catch all the Premier League and Champions League matches this season. TNT Sports typically costs £30.99 a month when signing up directly, while Sky Sports can be added to a Sky package for an additional £20.

However, with EE’s Big Sport plan, members can enjoy all 12 Sky Sports channels and TNT Sports, along with Eurosport 1 and 2, for just £35 a month when combined with one of EE’s broadband plans.

Meanwhile, Virgin Media’s Black Friday sale offers the brand’s Biggest Combo Bundle, featuring over 210 TV channels – including Sky Sports – a Netflix subscription, and 1,130Mbps broadband.
