Kate Middleton’s trusty hiking boots that are perfect for walking in harsh weather conditions are officially on sale by up to 24 percent on Amazon.

While many of us are accustomed to seeing the Princess of Wales in gowns and tiaras, she is also a big fan of the outdoors. In fact, she is said to be a big fan of Berghaus’ Supalite II Gore-Tex Waterproof Hiking Boots when out and about.

The royal once famously wore these “really comfy” boots in a video released to mark her 10th wedding anniversary to Prince William. Usually retailing at £185 per pair, these boots boast a design that make them perfect for many outdoor activities.

If you want to bag your own pair of Kate’s go-to footwear without the price-tag, then you can head over to Amazon where they have been reduced to between £157 and £140.36 – offering up to over £40 off the RRP, depending on your shoe size.

Unlike many clunky boots on the market, the Supalite II are said to provide wearers with “lightweight comfort”. Said to weigh less than a kilo per pair, they offer less strain and extra support for your feet when out hiking.

Also designed with weather conditions in mind, the strong leather material ensures that these boots are “fully waterproof”. Meanwhile, the GORE-TEX inner lining keeps your feet dry, breathable and free from sweat.

Comfort is elevated with a memory foam heel and toe cushion that makes it feel like you are “walking on air”, according to reviews. Right now, Amazon users can snap these boots up at the discounted price in sizes four to eight, with half-sizes also available.

The Berghaus Supalite II Boots don’t just count Kate Middleton as a fan, as they boast an impressive 4.5 rating on Amazon, with significant praise from customers who say they are “immediately comfortable” and require “no breaking in.”

One happy customer wrote: “These boots are very comfortable as well as being lightweight. Tried them out on a 10 mile off road walk, good grip on uneven terrain; no rubbing or blisters. I have spent hundreds of pounds on walking boots and these are the best I have bought for style as well as comfort.”

A second shopper penned: “I bought these boots for a walking holiday in the Peak District. They were (a) both immediately comfortable and (b) proved very waterproof on a very rainy holiday where they were often submerged. My husband has now bought the same boots. Many boots say they are waterproof and they are not, these are, and for that alone they are really worth the money.”

Another fan of the boots said: “Love these! I bought them for work as I do a lot of walking. In the past always worn wellie boots but they ruined my feet. These were like walking on air. Worn them for three full days of walking now and only a slight rub on the back of the heels. I’m sure this will cease in time over more wear. Totally waterproof too. 10/10.”

Someone else said: “Very comfortable walking boots that did not need breaking in first and stood up to an 11 mile hike up Kinder Scout in Derbyshire without rubbing, letting in water or making my feet ache/burn. You definitely get what you paid for with these boots. Highly recommended.”

One shopper did leave a lower review over the fit, as they wrote: “Lovely soft boot but just too narrow.”
