Outlander star Sophie Skelton had some foreboding words for Rob Cameron (played by Chris Fulton) on behalf of her character Brianna.
Fans last saw the daughter of Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) wracked with grief in the 1980s after Rob kidnapped her son Jemmy (Blake Johnston Miller) to find the legendary Spaniard’s gold.
Left with no other option, her husband Roger MacKenzie (Richard Rankin) is forced to go back in time again in pursuit, along with his time-travelling ancestor William ‘Buck’ MacKenzie (Diarmaid Murtagh).
Thousands of viewers are on tenterhooks to find out if their mission is successful and Brianna and Jemmy are eventually reunited.
Speaking at Outlander’s 10th Anniversary Celebration at PaleyFest 2024, Skelton hinted that Brianna might even have the chance to confront her son’s abductor face-to-face.
“[Season] seven’s very difficult,” she teased to viewers. “I think this is the first time we see Brianna go into proper Mama Bear mode.
“She’s been very good at defending herself, and now she’s defending her kids. You really start to see what lengths she’ll go to do that.”
Skelton then quipped: “So, watch out Rob Cameron!”
During another panel at New York Comic Con, the cast were asked which Taylor Swift song would best represent their character in the upcoming instalment.
The Brianna star cheekily teased: “In season seven, part two, I feel like it would be Look What You Made Me Do”, prompting an intrigued “Oooh” from the audience.
Will Rob Cameron feel Brianna’s wrath by the end of season seven?
The first batch of episodes saw Rob getting close to the MacKenzies in the 1980s after Brianna finds a job as a health and safety inspector at the local dam.
After uncovering the legend of the gold in the Spaniard’s Cave Jemmy and Jamie discovered in the 18th Century, Jemmy goes missing and Roger realises Rob must have found out about the treasure.
To complicate matters, his ancestor Buck emerged through the stones at Craigh Na Dun, but knows he’s destined to die shortly after making his trip through the portal.
Roger will stop at nothing to rescue their son, but first-look images at Geillis Duncan (Lotte Verbeek) and Dougal MacKenzie’s (Graham McTavish) return suggests the travellers are about to take some unexpected detours.
Outlander season seven part two premieres on Friday, November 22, on MGM+ via Prime Video in the UK and on Starz in the US.
