Dunelm is the latest retailer to join the Black Friday race by launching its own early sale for bargain hunters today (November 20).
The home furnishing chain’s massive sale has reduced the cost of household essentials across every product category. From coffee machines and air fryers to bedding sets and festive items, there is something for everyone.

Clothes airers have gained popularity recently as they tend to cost less than the tumble dryer. This particular model has a running cost of just “5p per hour”, with shoppers saying they are specifically buying it to “reduce” their reliance on the household appliance.

Averaging a 4.2 rating, Dunelm shoppers have been left seriously impressed with this heated airer that they say is “economical to run”, while also being able to “keep the room warm” at the same time.
One shopper said: “Easy to put up and holds a decent amount of washing. I put a sheet over the washing as its drying and find that speeds up the process too – believe it or not I also find the room that it’s in is nice and warm which is a bonus – wouldn’t get that from a tumble dryer!”
A second shopper penned: “This size airer can take quite a bit of washing and I was surprised at how quickly clothes did dry. Some bulky areas like hoods might still be a little damp but you just need to reposition the item of clothing. Also really warms up the room so will be great for winter! Doesn’t seem to use much power which is a bonus and will certainly mean I use the rumble dryer less this winter.”

Another Dunelm shopper added: “Good drying area and also keeps the room warm. Economical to run.”
However, one shopper who left a lower three-star review wrote: “Quite flimsy and the wire isn’t very long. It doesn’t seem to dry much quicker than a conventional clothes airer.”
