An Ayrshire restaurant is celebrating after being awarded a Good Food Award Blue Ribbon.

The Glasshouse Restaurant at Rowallan Castle was given the accolade for their “unwavering commitment to culinary excellence, sustainability and exceptional guest experiences”.

Award-winning executive chef, David Grimley, thanked his team for their dedication to showcasing local produce.

Nestled within the grounds of Rowallan Castle which dates back to the 16th-century, the Glasshouse Restaurant’s menu features a “delightful array of seasonal dishes that celebrate the rich flavours of Scotland, with a focus on sustainable sourcing”.
