One of Aldi’s bestselling beauty products is officially back in stock and shoppers have already branded it as the “best news”.
It’s not a secret to suggest that the supermarket’s in-house Lacura brand has become famed for its range of cosmetics that mimic those that are more high-end. In fact, many of them are so popular that the limited stock can be hard to find.
One such product that sold out in a week when it first launched was the Lacura Rose Cleansing Balm. Making its debut in Aldi’s Middle Aisle section in august last year, this cleansing balm made waves for its similarity to Elemis’ iconic Pro-Collagen Rose Cleansing Balm.
If you have been anticipating the return of Aldi’s cult cleanser, then you’re in luck, as it has been brought “by popular demand”. Officially back in stores from today, November 21, beauty buffs can nab it for just £6.99 – making it £43 cheaper than Elemis’ bestselling £49 cleanser.
Boasting a similar pink-tinted tub the Lacura cleansing balm has been designed to “deeply cleanse” the skin, all while leaving it “super soft”. It has been enriched with nourishing ingredients that include rosehip oil, sweet almond oil and also rose flower oil.
The solid balm turns into a silky oil texture that works to completely remove any traces of makeup, dirt and grime. Its “non-drying” formula will ensure your skin isn’t stripped of its moisture, instead leaving it feeling “balanced” and “refreshed.”
Owing to its popularity, Aldi fans have already been raving over the cult cleanser’s return after it was officially announced on the supermarket’s Instagram. The post read: “Our Lacura Cleansing Balm is back by popular demand. £6.99 in store 21.11.24.”
Numerous beauty buffs quickly flocked to the comments to express their enthusiasm over the viral products return, as they race to get their hands on it. One such fan said: “This is the best news , I’ve just ran out of mine.”
A second Aldi shopper wrote: “Yeeeeeees I hope I can get my hands on it.”

A similar shopper penned: “I’ve never been so happy I ran out three weeks ago!!!!!!!!”
While another added: “This is the best, will be stocking up, perfect for heavy makeup removal.”
However, it is worth noting that one beauty buff did find that the product wasn’t suitable for their skin, as they said: “I found this sting my eyes so badly!”
Nevertheless, if you want to get your hands on the Lacura Rose Cleansing Balm before it sells out, you can head to your local store from today. Remember, as with all Specialbuys, especially beauty, they can be quite limited in stock.
If you do happen to miss the return of the cleansing balm, but still don’t have the money for Elemis, then you can check out Super Hydrate Rose Cleansing Balm that costs just £12.50 for a 100g tub.
Meanwhile, at Boots, you can also check out the Super Facialist Rosehip Skin Therapy Meltaway Cleansing Balm (100g) that has been reduced from £20 to £13.33.
