As the I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! contestants delve deeper into jungle life, facing daunting Bushtucker trials and heartfelt campfire chats, it seems some of the 2024 cast might be concealing their true emotions.

Body language expert Nicole Greenfield-Smith, in collaboration with Mecca Games, has analysed the latest series of I’m a Celeb.

She suggests that Dean could risk irritating the audience or potentially quit after his quick exit from a Bushtucker trial. She also senses that Coleen is maintaining her emotional barriers, while Alan is holding back his frustration.

Greenfield-Smith’s insights from the previous night focused particularly on Dean and GK Barry, finding Tulisa’s big confession less compelling as she appeared to have processed her feelings already.

“My observations from last night were really centred around Dean and GK Barry. Tulisa’s revelation wasn’t that interesting as she’d evidently dealt with the emotions and was quite matter of fact in her recount. I thought last night’s trial was interesting and if Dean flunks many more trials, it could leave him susceptible to walking,” she remarked.

The body language specialist also noted that Coleen seems to be keeping a distance from the core group during profound discussions, which have led to both Barry McGuigan and Danny Jones showing vulnerability. Barry was moved to tears recalling the loss of his cherished daughter Nika, who passed away at 33 in 2019, reports the Mirror.

In the latest episode, McFly’s Danny Jones opened up about his struggle with severe anxiety and panic attacks, becoming visibly emotional.

Coleen was seen shedding a tear when Barry discussed his daughter’s death, a situation she could relate to due to the loss of her own younger sister. However, a body language expert suggests that the WAG might not be ready for more profound or emotional discussions just yet.

The wife of footballer Wayne Rooney may not feel at ease sharing her deepest feelings with the group – but this could change as time progresses.

The expert noted: “It’s also great to see some good bonds forming – with Oti at the centre of the positive vibes. Interestingly, Coleen seems to be hanging back and positioning herself away from the main group during the more emotional conversations – this is something she did during Barry’s talk of his daughter’s passing and a behaviour that was repeated last night during Dean and Oti’s tears. This could suggest she feels uncomfortable or has yet to fully integrate with the group.”

Finally, Nicole concludes that soap star Alan appears to be losing patience with some of his campmates, as his body language indicates he’s trying hard to keep his thoughts to himself.

“Alan’s patience already seems to be on the wane with several side glances, sighs and subtle gestures that suggest disapproval in last night’s episode.”
