MORGAN COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) – A woman is accused of attacking her boyfriend with a knife.

The arrest citation says it happened early Tuesday morning at a home on Lick Branch Road in Morgan County.

According to the citation, 44-year-old Jennifer Cantrell and her boyfriend had been arguing for two and a half hours about who had more covers on the bed.

The citation says the argument got more heated until Cantrell “got tired of arguing” and picked up a 10-and-a-half-inch knife and swung it at her boyfriend.

The man was able to dodge, which the citation says made Cantrell madder, so she threw the knife at him. He jumped to the side, and the knife narrowly missed hitting him.

Cantrell was arrested on a charge of wanton endangerment-1st degree and taken to the Rowan County Detention Center. She is being held on $5,000 bond.
