AUSTIN, Texas — The weekend is upon us and, as always, there are a ton of things going on in the Austin area! From “A Christmas Affair” to “A Christmas Carol,” there’s no shortage of fun activities happening over the next few days.

Here’s a breakdown of just some of the events you can attend this weekend.

31st Annual Austin Powwow and Native Market

This Saturday, Austinites can attend the annual Powwow and Native Market at the Travis County Expo Center, offering a unique look into Native American culture and heritage. The event will include a grand entry featuring dancers from across the country, traditional dance competitions and a Native market and food court.

Tickets are available online, and children 12 and under get in free.

When: Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Where: Travis County Expo Center, located at 7311 Decker Lane

A Christmas Affair 2024: Christmas in Bloom

The Junior League of Austin’s annual market has returned to the Palmer Events Center. Through Sunday, attendees can get their holiday shopping done at this year’s “Christmas in Bloom”-themed event, featuring more than 200 vendors from across the country.

Tickets are available online.

ZACH Theatre Presents: “A Christmas Carol”

The ZACH Theatre’s production of “A Christmas Carol” has returned! From now through Dec. 29, theater fans and Christmas lovers can catch the musical take on Charles Dickens’ most famous story.

This year, the production is celebrating its 10th anniversary with special extras like commemorative tickets, experiences and more. Tickets are available online.

When: through Sunday, Dec. 29

Where: The Topfer at ZACH, 202 S. Lamar Blvd.
