PRINCETON, W.Va. -According to the CDC here in the mountain state, strokes are the sixth leading cause for death.
WVU Medicine Princeton Community Hospital has recently welcomed a new neurologist to the team.
Dr. Stephen Rohrbough was born in West Virginia and later moved to Florida, but after finishing fellowship decided to move back to the mountain state.
He says the population in the area is very underserved in the department of neurological resources and he is happy to be able to provide his services to those in the area.
“It’s very important, and an essential service that we provide. We can really help alleviate a lot of angst, questions, but also the symptoms that a patient is having,” said Dr. Stephen Rohrbough, Neurologist for WVU Medicine PCH.
For those in need of neurological services the office hours are Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
