(Gray News) – Blue Origin is launching its ninth human flight on Friday.

Jeff Bezos’ rocket company announced flight NS-28 will lift off from Launch Site One in West Texas at 10:30 a.m.

The flight is the 28th for the New Shepard rocket used in the company’s “space tourism flight.”

Six people will be onboard during the flight. They will cross the Kármán line, considered the boundary of space, and experience several minutes of weightlessness before coming back to Earth.

In the past, the flight has taken a total of 10 minutes.

Emily Calandrelli, known online as “The Space Gal,” will be one of the passengers on board. She hosts several science education shows, including “Xploration Outer Space”, “Emily’s Wonder Lab” and “Emily’s Science Lab.”

Other passengers include Sharon and Marc Hagle, who became the first married couple to launch a commercial space vehicle with their first flight on March 31, 2022; J.D. Russell, founder of InfoHOA; Hank Wolfond, CEO of Bayshore Capital; and Austin Litteral, who won his spot in a giveaway sponsored by the corporation Whatnot.
