PRINCETON, W.Va. – Pull out the jumbo scissors as the Chamber of Commerce of the Two Virginias welcomes a new business to Princeton.
The ribbon-cutting event welcomed the BoxDrop Princeton Mattress & Furniture to the community and gave people an opportunity to meet the owner, Matthew Marks, and see what BoxDrop has to offer.
Originally from Lewisburg, Marks says they’re happy to be in Princeton making connections and getting their name out there, and the turnout has been great.
“I sell furniture, living room furniture, bedroom, dining room, mattresses. This is a kind of condensed version of, you know, what I normally do. But we’re just kind of getting our feet wet in Princeton and getting to know the community and the people. And once that takes off, then we’re looking to probably expand a little bit more. But just a little showroom for right now,” says Marks.
BoxDrop will be open during sales events from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays, and 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays. Their current sales event will run from November 22 to December 1. Afterwards, they are open by appointment only.
