Airdrie’s clash with Livingston this afternoon after Storm Bert wrecked havoc across he country with heavy snow.
The Championship clash is one of a number of fixtures across the board to fall victim to the weather, with Rhys McCabe’s men now kicking their heels over the weekend. Their next fixture is next Sunday away to Dundee East End in the Scottish Cup.
Elsewhere, the entire West of Scotland Football League made the call this morning to postpone all fixtures.
Shotts’ South Challenge Cup tie with Kilwinning Rangers had already been postponed last night ahead of today’s scheduled fourth round tie, which is now due to be played next weekend.
In the Lowland League, East Kilbride’s trip to Bo’ness United has been beaten by the weather, as is Caledonian Braves’ trip to Tranent and Cumbernauld Colts’ visit to Linlithgow Rose. Albion Rovers lost 4-0 to Celtic B last night.
Meanwhile, Motherwell’s Premiership clash away to Ross County is still due to go ahead as planned, with both teams and officials in Dingwall from last night, although fans are being told not to travel up the A9 due to the adverse weather.
Hamilton Accies’ Championship clash at home to Raith Rovers is also set to go ahead, with Accies asking fans to come down to New Douglas Park to help clear the pitch of snow ahead of the 3pm kick-off.
