A hard working carer has been thanked by her boss for being a “diamond” both in and out of the work place.
Pauline Muldoon was hailed by her gaffer Jacqueline Woods and all of the team at Constance Care in Motherwell for going above and beyond the call of duty.
Jacqueline said: She is a diamond and never has a day off work.
“She is always there to help everyone no matter who it is. She has had a few tragedies over the past year and still holds down two jobs.
“Pauline works every second weekend with Constance Care who provide care for vulnerable people in the community.
“She is a fantastic carer. Pauline just seems to get on with all things life throws at her. We wish everyone was like her. I have such a lot of time for Pauline.
“She just takes everything in her stride. I think she deserves a little bit of recognition.
“She’ll probably kill me for nominating her but she definitely deserves it.”
When Jacqueline told us all about Pauline’s hard work we decided to surprise in front of her care colleagues with a beautiful bouquet of flowers thanks to our friends at Pixie’s Petals in Newmains.
Jacqueline added: “Pauline is a real trooper and has the patience of a saint .
“She has been with us since 2006 and works really hard. All of the staff, the service users and their families absolutely love her.
“She never complains about anything and gets on with the challenge no matter what it is.
“A lot of our patients struggle with mobility and she is so patient with them. She just wants to help people.”
