Mark Wright has revealed his scars after a sudden trip to the hospital in America due to a severe head injury he suffered in Las Vegas. The 37 year old TOWIE favourite assured fans he “wasn’t drunk” and that he’s “absolutely fine”, sharing details of his nasty fall during his trip.
From his first-class seat on his flight back to London, Mark updated his Instagram followers. In a video on his Stories, he recounted the incident: “Another year done. F1 in Vegas. What an experience. I’m coming home with a little scar.
“For those that are asking on my Instagram, I fell in the bathroom. I wasn’t drunk. It was in the middle of the night, half asleep. Needed a few stitches but I’m all good, absolutely fine.”
Mark, who had been soaking up the Formula 1 action stateside, also expressed his eagerness to get back to his wife, Michelle Keegan, 37, and extended gratitude to his Vegas friends for their hospitality.
He continued: “On my way home to see the wife. I just want to say a quick thanks to Palms Casino Resorts, also Fontainebleau. Incredible new property in Vegas. F1 as well – thank you so much. A massive thank you for my man Steve Weiser.
“What a guy – setting it all up and giving us an unforgettable week. But now it’s home time for Christmas. Can’t wait to see my loved ones. Until next time, Vegas. Peace out.”
Mark then kept amused on his flight by catching up with the classic ‘Home Alone’, which was apt, after the festive display at home he’s putting on.
Last week we reported Mark and Michelle have once again set the bar high with their stunning Christmas decorations at their £3.5m Essex mansion, drawing comparisons to the iconic Home Alone house.
The couple have turned their home into a breathtaking winter wonderland, complete with all the festive trimmings.
Mark and Michelle’s home has left fans in awe, with their festive decorations drawing huge compliments. One admirer gushed: “Wow looks amazing.” Another was equally impressed, stating: “Absolutely gorgeous and just how I would do it…if I could!”

One added: “The modern day Home Alone house! So beautiful.”
Despite the overwhelming admiration, some voiced that it might be too soon for such festive cheer, with one person commenting: “It’s stunning, too early for me personally but I love it!!” Others were more blunt, with exclamations like: “It’s the beginning of November!” and a straightforward “Way too early in my opinion.”
