Luxury brand Aspinal of London has launched its Black Friday sale, offering up to 50 percent off across its entire range.
The high-end leather goods brand, popular with royalty, has slashed prices in preparation for the festive shopping season.
The Mayfair Midi Bag from Aspinal, previously spotted on the arm of the Princess of Wales, is just one item in a collection of beautifully crafted handbags and accessories that is available in the shopping extravaganza.
For those who appreciate Kate’s understated elegance, the Mayfair Midi Bag is now £130 cheaper. Usually retailing for a hefty £650, the brand’s early Black Friday deal has brought the price down to £520 – a saving of 20 percent.

‘Understated elegance’
While I may not hold a Royal title or be on the A-list, I do have the pride and joy of owning not one but two Aspinal handbags. One is my everyday favourite, a little touch of luxury that makes me feel effortlessly chic, while the other is a generously sized, sunshine-ready statement perfect for warmer weather and trips away.

Handcrafted from the finest full-grain leather, its semi-structured silhouette radiates subtle sophistication. But what truly sets this bag apart is its incredible versatility.
On busy days, I carry it by the soft top handles for a polished look, but when I need to be hands-free and feeling more casual, the detachable leather strap comes to the rescue. Currently on sale for £476, the Midi London has an impressive £119 off the original RRP of £595. Worth every penny in my opinion, my bag is still going strong after a solid five years of use, give or take a season or two.
In the new year, when the promise of spring beckons, it will be time to reach for my second favourite Aspinal bag. Oversized and utterly indulgent, my Large London Tote is a dream.
Crafted from buttery-soft leather, it has a beautiful, fluid quality that flows effortlessly, while keeping its laid-back, unstructured charm. Having opted for the textured pebble finish in a rather lovely Ivory colour, with a contrasting navy blue lining, this bag is my absolute favourite in the warmer months.
But as an avid fan of monochrome clothing, I feel it works just as well when it’s time to pull out the big coat. I am particularly fond of its two stitched ‘A’ panels to the sides, accented by a contrasting tan colour that looks super classy with a camel coat or throwover.
Usually retailing at a hefty £695, the Black Friday sale sees the price drop to £556. That’s a substantial saving of 20 percent, with £139 off the RRP.
The only downside I’ve found with my Aspinal bags is that while they are excellently crafted, they can be quite weighty. If you’re not keen on feeling the heft of leather against your skin as you move, or the swing of the embellishments on the handles, these bags might feel a bit cumbersome and bulky for you.
