Scottish musical legends Deacon Blue have announced two massive tours in 2025, with two shows in Scotland.

The Glaswegian band revealed that they will be hitting venues across the UK and Ireland to promote their new studio album, ‘The Great Western Road’, which will be released on March 21, next year.

Deacon Blue will perform 5 theatre shows in March 2025 to mark the release of their album, kicking off at Edinburgh’s Usher Hall. Then, the band will take on a staggering 15 arena shows across Britain and Ireland later in the year, concluding with two hometown shows at the Glasgow Hydro.

The tour will also see the band visit cities including Liverpool, Cardiff, Manchester, and Dublin, and will mark the first time that they have played at Wembley Arena since 1990.

Taking to Instagram to announce the exciting news, the band said: “We’re delighted to announce ‘The Great Western Road’, our brand-new studio album, will be released on 21st March 2025 and is available to pre-order.”

It added: “We can’t wait to see you on The Great Western Road Trip!”

Pre-sale tickets will be available from 9am on Thursday, November 28. To access the pre-sale, fans must pre-order ‘The Great Western Road’ from the band’s official store.

Tickets will then go on general sale at 9am the following day, on Friday, November 29. You can secure a spot at the UK venues from Ticketmaster.
