Pupils from Sanquhar Primary cheered on celebrity Paddy McGuinness as he made his way through the region.
And the BBC 2 DJ even stopped for a picture, taking a short break from his 300 mile endurance cycle.
Paddy was on the fourth day of his gruelling challenge on a Rayleigh Chopper from Wrexham AFC to Glasgow. The class made banners and Pudsey masks to cheer on the Take Me Out presenter while parent Emma Herries had been tracking the star as he made his way through Dumfries and Galloway.
The class had been following his progress and stopped at Abington, Crawford and eventually Elvanfoot where they greeted him and his cavalcade of cameras and BBC crew. Some of the class stayed behind with parents at Crawford to greet him and were lucky to meet cyclist Sir Chris Hoy who interviewed the star.
And pupils were amazed when they spotted themselves on the TV during Children In Need on Friday, November 15. Thank you to Emma for organising, the parent helpers for driving and the Sanquhar Community Minibus for the transport.
