RIALTO, Calif. (KABC) – It’s a heartbreaking story out of Southern California.

Family members have now identified two young girls who were killed Sunday night in Rialto, which is approximately 55 miles east of Los Angeles, during a suspected drunken driving crash.

Relatives say 3-year-old Alinah Flores and her 4-year-old sister, Neveah, died in the crash.

According to police, a pickup truck ran a red light and slammed into their sedan.

The girls’ parents survived the crash.

Family members gathered for a vigil on Monday to remember the two girls. They left flowers, candles, stuffed animals and balloons at the crash site.

Police have identified the suspect as 28-year-old Alexis Garcia, of San Bernardino.

Garcia left the crash scene, but officers later found him.

He faces numerous charges, including murder and driving under the influence.

A GoFundMe was created to help with the girls’ funeral expenses.
