OKLAHOMA CITY (CNN) – Police in Oklahoma released amazing video of a last-second rescue one of their officers made as a man fell from a bridge.
Oklahoma City Police responded to a call about a man sleeping on a bridge Nov. 10. Officer Reyes’ body camera shows when he approached the man, he started to roll off toward the water below.
Reyes reacted quickly, grabbing the man by his hoodie then his arm as he fell.
A jogger running by stepped in to help the officer, and the two managed to pull the man to safety.
After a medical team checked the man out and determined he wasn’t hurt, Reyes gave him a ride back to his family.
Police say the man simply fell asleep, and his rescuers were in the right place at the right time.
