A ScotRail train conductor has been described as ‘marvellous’ while working an Edinburgh to Glasgow service. Conductor Dominic has been recognised for his kindness as he entertained STV presenters Laura Boyd and Sean Batty with card tricks and “great” chat as they travelled from the capital to Glasgow on Monday.
Posting a picture of a beaming Dominic on X, Glasgow Live reports Laura said he “brightened” her day and made the pair smile after a day of work.
The caption read: “Appreciation post for the marvellous Dominic of @ScotRail who kept me and @SeanBattyTV entertained on the Edinburgh to Glasgow train tonight with card tricks and great chat. Simple things can brighten someone’s day and he certainly made us smile after a day’s work”.
ScotRail replied to the post saying: “Thank you for the kind feedback, Laura! We will make sure Dominic receives this.”
One customer commented: “The Scots are in a class of their own. I hope they never lose it.”
