Coleen Rooney’s best friend has dismissed rumours about how the star manages her daily life, insisting that “it’s not true”. The 38 year old WAG is currently participating in this year’s series of ITV’s popular reality show I’m A Celebrity.
Since joining the famous jungle, the mother-of-four has quickly become a favourite among fans. Before flying off to Australia, Coleen disclosed the measures she took to ensure her children, Kai, 13, Klay, 10, Kit, seven, and Cass, five, whom she shares with ex-professional footballer Wayne Rooney, are well cared for. She left detailed instructions on two large whiteboards.
Her best friend Danielle Gibson appeared on Wednesday’s episode of Lorraine Kelly’s ITV chat show and debunked rumours that the star receives help, asserting that ‘she does it all on her own. ‘.
Lorraine began by saying: “She is very organised isn’t she? We saw the whiteboards up in the house with everything. It was like a spread sheet and everything was there so that everyone knows what to do because with the boys they have different activities, school and the rest of it, you’ve got to be organised.”, reports the Express.
Danielle elaborated: “That is Coleen in her natural habitat. She is so organised and I don’t know how she is living with no diary because her diary is like her best friend. She is so organised because she’s got four boys. They are all in school and they’ve got loads of football and after school activities and how she keeps up.”
She confessed: “The world will probably think that she has an entourage helping her and supporting her but it’s absolutely not true, she does it all on her own and she is amazing. The jungle is probably more of a retreat for her.”
Conversation quickly shifted to Coleen’s relationship with her husband Wayne and the support he’s providing while she’s away. Lorraine revealed: “I wouldn’t have thought this about Wayne and maybe I am completely wrong but apparently he is writing her poems and love letters.”
Danielle added: “I have no doubt about that. The narrative that has been sold to the public about their marriage is so far from the truth because he is very romantic at heart and I’m sure there are a lot of poems that are on the way.”
Lorraine airs weekdays from 9am on ITV and ITVX
