Irvine footballer Erin Cuthbert is aiming to fire Scotland into next summer’s European Championships.

The Chelsea ace has been an integral part of the national squad since making her debut in 2016 and will be called upon again as Scotland look to get past Finland in their crucial play-off final.

The Scots host Finland at Easter Road in Friday’s first leg before the return trip on Tuesday in Helsinki with the winner earning a place at Euro 2025, which is being hosted by Switzerland.

Finland twice defeated the Scots 1-0 during the Euro 2021 qualifying campaign.

Friday’s clash in Edinburgh kicks-off at 7.35pm and will be shown live on BBC Scotland. The return leg starts at 5.15pm and is being televised live on BBC Alba.
