Sainsbury’s has slashed the price of Quality Street across its UK stores in anticipation of the festive season. It wouldn’t quite be Christmas without a tub of Quality Street at home.

So, for those seeking a bargain, look no further. Sainsbury’s has dropped the price to just £3.95 for a 600g tub, down from the usual £6 which you can purchase here.

However, you will need a Nectar card to take advantage of this offer. The discount is also only available for a limited time, running until next week on Monday, December 2, Chronicle Live reports.

According to the price comparison site Trolley.co.uk, this is currently the best price on the market, even beating Aldi’s £4.49 offer. Other supermarkets including Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Iceland and Ocado are selling the Christmas treats for £6.

However, Asda currently has an offer on for two tubs for £9 making them only £4.50 each. You can sign up for Sainsbury’s Nectar loyalty card on the supermarket’s website by filling out a form for free.

But prices can change regularly, and deals can start and end at any time, so the chocolate tubs could still be cheaper elsewhere between now and Christmas.

Nestle has declared that the much-missed Coffee Creme chocolates will rejoin the Quality Street collection but exclusively at pick and mix stations within John Lewis and Waitrose stores for the festive period. Returning after a hiatus of over two decades, the coffee-flavoured fondants enclosed in dark chocolate were temporarily brought back last Christmas.

Emily Grimbley, Brand Manager for Quality Street, was excited about the announcement: “It’s a pleasure to share the news that coffee creme will be returning for Christmas 2024. This is an absolute fan favourite, and we are delighted to have it on shop shelves for Quality Street fans nationwide.”

She further remarked: “We know how passionately Quality Street fans feel about their favourite sweets, so the pick and mix stations at John Lewis are people’s chance to fill up their own bespoke mix with just the sweets that they and their friends and family love.”
