A man has died after falling ill whilst he was driving on a Glasgow road last night.
Emergency services raced to Millerston Street, Camlachie at around 10pm on Wednesday, November 27. Police confirmed a 64-year-old man was pronounced dead a short time later.
He is believed to have taken ill while driving. A spokesperson added there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
The road was closed during the while investigations were carried out, reports Glasgow Live.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.10pm on Wednesday, 27 November, 2024, we received a report that a 64-year-old man had taken ill while driving on Millerston Street, Glasgow. Police and Ambulance attended. He was pronounced dead a short time later.
“There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
