The Chase fans caused an uproar over the latest episode of the ITV game show as they furiously called for members of the show to be axed.
Host Bradley Walsh welcomed a fresh quartet of contestants ready to challenge Shaun Wallace in the latest instalment of the quiz show aired on November 28.
Frank, 37, took to the podium first, revealing he had just welcomed twins and was hoping to win enough cash for a new house deposit. In the cash builder round, he impressively answered six questions right. Shaun tempted him with a low offer of £2,000 but incentivised a higher gamble of £37,000, the Express reports.
Despite his teammates suggesting he keep the money already banked, Frank shocked both Bradley and Shaun by opting for the lower sum. “Bit surprised there,” admitted Shaun, with Bradley echoing the sentiment.
However, his choice proved irrelevant as the Dark Destroyer quickly caught up with him. After Frank, Maya stepped up, sticking with her earned £6,000 to become the initial successful contender for the final chase.
Lee attempted to emulate Maya’s achievement but, only securing four correct answers, opted for a safer £1,000, yet failed to outrun Shaun. Lastly, Suzy likewise went for the lower offer of £1,000, successfully making it to join Maya for the final showdown.

Viewers of the popular quiz show The Chase were left fuming after contestants repeatedly accepted low offers. One irate viewer took to social media, exclaiming: “Omg omg omg #Thechase Fire the producers,” while another commented: “FFS you go on quiz shows to try and win a possible life changing amount of money. Going low isn’t even worth turning up for.”
A third disgruntled fan chimed in with: “Ffs – this show is getting pathetic…” Another disappointed viewer shared their decision to switch channels, stating: “I used to enjoy watching #thechase, but sadly it’s being ruined by folk constantly taking low offers. For the sake of my sanity, I’m switching to #pointless. The Chase is dead.”
Echoing these sentiments, another viewer suggested: “Time to rest the chase for a while, it’s become very boring now with the contestants going low far too often recently.”
Despite Suzy and Maya answering 14 questions correctly in the final chase, Shaun caught the duo with just four seconds remaining.
